Note on Tues/Thurs: Please note we are limited to 3-4 lanes for practice
based on the number of Lap Swimmers.
* Swimmers
participating in high school programs must attend at least one practice
per week during the high school season.
* If you do
not attend the minimum amount of practices (illness, etc. excused) you
will not participate in meets.
Swimmers are to be prepared to enter the pool at these times. Practices start on time. Please allow enough time for swimmers to change and be ready. Tardiness is disruptive to the rest of the swimmers in the pool and the start of practice is the warm-up, which is important to complete to avoid the risk of injury.
Attendance is taken at every practice. If a swimmer is more than 10 minutes late YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE THAT SESSION.
Caps and goggles are required for ALL swimmers at each practice. Pace will not allow swimmers to enter the water without a cap. You will also need your Pace ID card, swimsuit (not the team suit, please save that for meets), water bottle, towel, bag, lock for locker, shampoo.
Each swimmer should have at least two pairs of goggles. It is really difficult to practice without them so there should always be a spare pair available. Please and try and have goggles tightened or loosened before practice.
Dry land training will also be available to those 11 and older Thursday 6:00-7:00 am. Sneakers are required. Comfortable shorts and t-shirts are recommended and dont forget your water bottle, towel and Pace ID card. Dry land training consists of running/jogging, floor exercises, and free weight training. |
